General
First and foremost, NoPoli.org is meant to encourage and stimulate free and open, tasteful discussion of current political events of perceived general interest to our viewership. As far as NoPoli.org is concerned, humor and lightheartedness should always trump anger and heavy handedness and carry the day. You should not assume that all information published on this website will be fully accurate; you can count on the fact that occasionally it won’t be. When it is and when it isn’t is part of what makes visiting this website interesting.
The simple rule of the day, and the say, is simple: Keep it simple, and calm and clean. Your mom and pop raised you to know what that means (or they should have); we shouldn’t need to tell you, and we won’t waste money on our lawyers doing so. Cross the line, however, at least where we perceive it to be, and your proposed content will be toast before it sees the light of day. We also reserve the right, without consulting with you, to edit any content you submit to make it suitable, in our opinion, for use on NoPoli.org.
NoPoli.org tries not to take itself too seriously and asks ours viewers not to do so either. One thing NoPoli.org does take very seriously is the privacy of its viewers; any contact information provided to NoPoli.org by any of our viewers will never be shared with any third parties except if and to the extent required by applicable law.
Legal
Now for the legal stuff. The lawyers always take their cut, but in this case their cut of zero is still zero! So our lawyers lose here. So do our viewers if they ever expect to assert any claims against NoPoli.org or any of its principals, affiliates, representatives, advisors or successors. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, which is California law, use of this website constitutes a waiver of all claims that might otherwise be asserted against NoPoli.org or any of those relationships just mentioned and rests venue for the assertion of any claims against NoPoli.org or any of those relationships just mentioned in the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Los Angeles.
NoPoli.org is the sole owner of and has all rights to this website and all non-copyrighted content posted thereon. You acknowledge and confirm this by submitting any content for posting on this website. NoPoli.org reserves the right to discontinue or suspend the broadcast of this website. NoPoli.org is not responsible for any content posted on this website or any other website to which NoPoli.org is linked or to any views expressed by any of its viewership or linked websites.
Apology
Sorry for saying all of that stuff. The lawyer made us do it. Mmm, that kind of sounds like saying “The devil made us do it.” Come to think of it, …. Nope, not gonna go there. We don’t tell lawyer jokes here at NoPoli.org, we tell jokes about politicians. Actually, we think many politicians out there today are jokes! Be sure to let us know if you know any good ones. We mean jokes, but you’re also welcome to tell us if you think you know any good politicians too!
Questions?
If you have any questions about any of this protocol stuff, please make an appointment at a mutually convenient time and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. How about the 12th of never? Does that work for you? On the other hand, if you have some current political events you want to talk about, we’re open 24/7. Just let us know anytime. And that’s no joke. Thanks for listening, and for being here. We hope you’ll come back often, and we hope you’ll share. Now go back to the home page and hopefully you’ll find something more interesting to read, look at, watch and/or listen to…and comment on.
